How we publish a short explainer

Each guide answers one question: What is it? Why does it matter? What does the original source say? A brief source list and a related-news link go at the end. Policy proposals are identified as proposals; enacted laws and court rulings are dated and distinguished. Unverified or unfinished drafts stay unpublished.

To add a guide, open WordPress → Posts → Add New, select the Short Explainers category, attach the primary-source link and relevant Truth in Focus article, and save as a draft for checking before publication. The category collection updates automatically whenever a new explainer post is published.

Longer references under review

Our detailed guides on Montana’s 2025 Code, Project 2025, and Public Law 119-21 are being edited and are not yet publicly available. Once reviewed, they can be linked here, with short explainers directing readers to the full references.
